Green Sprouting Broccoli produces dark green heads that are packed with flavor. It does not produce a single large head like hybrid broccoli’s, this one produces many small to medium heads that can be picked over an extended season. It can be harvested about three times over three months, once the main head has been harvested the plant will begin to produce smaller broccoli heads for 4-6 weeks. Green Sprouting Broccoli grows up to 60cm tall and produces heads up to 17cm in diameter. Leaves, buds and stalks are also tender and edible, a real winner in the garden.
Special varietal requirements:
This variety requires a cold winter before it will start to produce heads.
