Bologna RZ is a long cucumber variety that produces dark green fruits of up to 38cm long with normal ribbing. The plant has very good vigour, and is strong against burnt heads. This variety can withstand extreme weather conditions very well and is successful under a wide range of conditions. Bologna is resistant to powdery mildew and strong against botrytis and mycospharella.
Special varietal requirements:
Requires warm, well-drained soil high in fertility, with a pH of 6–6.8. Consistent, adequate irrigation is needed to produce an abundant crop.
