It has excellent resistance to Black rot infection, caused by the pathogen&nbsp;Xanthomonas Campestris&nbsp;pv.&nbsp;Campestris. Since summer rainfall regions are most prone to Black rot infection, Powerslam is ideally suited to the summer growing season. It is a very versatile cabbage for different markets and production areas. It can be used for pre-packing and processing. Powerslam matures between 75 and 85 days from transplant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Special varietal requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Harvesting should be completed by May to avoid bolting.
