Incline is a cauliflower variety that has proven its worth in the field. Plants are vigorous and healthy with a blue-green colour. The leaves are fairly thick and resist frost well. Incline produces large, crisp white curds with a high compact dome. Incline is a medium maturing variety with time to maturity being about 80 - 110 days after transplanting and has excellent field holding ability. Incline is suitable for end of winter to spring sowing period where the excellent wrapper leaves are particularly important.
SPECIAL VARIETAL REQUIREMENTS
- Nitrogen levels are very important in cauliflower production - levels should be kept low when very small heads are produced, usually going into September
- We suggest sowing in May to February in cool Highveld areas and January to March in sub-tropical areas
