Samantha is a long Nantes F1 hybrid carrot with medium maturity and having a characteristically strong top attachment. The tops have intermediate resistance to Alternaria leaf blight (Ad) that facilitates efficient complete harvests for the quality oriented markets. Samantha has a very good field holding ability and the strong vigorous tops make it ideally suited for the bunching and pre-pack carrot markets.
