Milena is a green Batavia type lettuce from Sakata’s breeding programme. Milena has a light green colour and a big frame. Extremely slow to bolt and holds well in the field. The leaves of this variety are big, resulting in a high yielding potential. Can be used for year round production in mild climatic conditions. The variety is very adaptable and can be planted in all production areas. Takes 50 - 60 days to mature after transplanting seedlings.
