Joi Choi is a white stemmed and early maturing Pak Choi. The uniformity in growth and maturity is very good. Joi Choi is widely adapted, performing very well under cool and warm growing conditions. Joi Choi has a slow bolting habit and is one of the coldest tolerant Pak Choi varieties which maintain a fresh green colour in winter. Plants can be harvested at an immature stage, however cropping at maturity is most common. Petioles are white, tender, soft and very tasty. Joi Choi is ideal for salads and general cooking purposes.
