- Widely adapted
Silverado is a later maturing swiss chard variety (when compared to Ford Hook Giant) with very good bolting resistance. Leaves have a dark green glossy colour and leaves are very savoy. Petioles are white and thinner than the normal Fordhook Giant. Silverado takes 60 – 65 days to mature after seedling transplant. Plants are very uniform.
