Sweetbell* is a purple shoulder white globe type turnip, with outstanding root uniformity and yield potential. Sweetbell* is a vigorous grower forming roots between 5 and 8 cm in diameter. Sweetbell* has a pure white flesh colour and a sweet taste with a crisp texture, ideal for salads and garnish.
SPECIAL VARIETAL REQUIREMENTS
- This is a variety for spring, summer and autumn production and not for winter in cool temperate regions
- Sweetbell is a vigorous grower, hence care should be taken to not apply excessive nitrogen during the growth cycle as this might induce cracking
